Content:
Interview with graphic designer and illustrator Eyke
Volkmer, who created the book covers of the "Zukunftsromane"
and "Weltraumtaschenbücher" for the publishing
house Goldmann from approx. 1958 until 1971.
Volkmer explains the decision of Wilhelm Goldmann to
have the covers designed in this particular fashion,
he explains how book covers were done in that time and
he tells us a little about how the publisher Wilhelm
Goldmann was a person.
All in all a very interesting conversation with one
of the most active Science Fiction illustrators from
the sixties.

reader of Houdini Nation. This is the first Science-Fiction
