*16.December.1928 / Chicago
† 2. March 1982
His body of work includes a vast amount of stories and
books. It would probably keep any person busy for a
year trying to read them all.
He gained fame when his novels became films. "Blade
Runner" (based on his novel "Do Androids Dream
of Electric Sheep") was only the start. "Total
Recall", "Screamers", "Minority
Report" and "Paycheck" (among others)
followed until the end of 2004. More film projects are
in the pipeline.
