Born in Berlin, Hauser served in the navy at the end
of the first World War. Afterwards, he worked as a railway
worker, camera operator and travelled the world.
In 1938, Hauser emigrated to the United States and returned
to Germany in 1949. He lived drawn back from the public
until his death 1960. |
