Since the movie will probably be known to most science-fiction fans, here is just a short review:

Logan is one of the "police"-forces who hunt down people who have reached a certain age and must therefore die. He lives in a society, where a crytsal is implanted in the palm of every newborn. This crystal changes colour with age. In order to cope with the population, you have to die once you reach a certain age.

Naturally, some people do not like that and there is said to be a refuge. Of course, Logan is being turned from a hunter to a hunted, trying to reach that rumoured paradise.
