Genetic experiments produce twins with supernatural powers. However, their minds are being erased and they are seperated, growing up unaware of their brothers existence. Naturally, supernatural powers can not be held down, so it all leads to them meeting and joining forces. They represent all that is good so nobody gets hurt.

Thrown in are intelligent apes fighting for civil rights, a young girl who is rather kinky and one rather religious ape.

The book is not written in a very "serious" way. It has a humorous touch to it.

BTW: "Homunkulus" is an artifiacially created human being, or so various sources on the internet claim.
