Content:
Mankind has overcrowded earth and feeds on plankton
harvested in large sea-farms and on whale herds. An
astronaut with space trauma becomes an underwater man.
All religions have lost their influence because of archeologic
findings or other reasons, only buddhism is still there,
stronger than ever. Reason one: it is a philosophy.
Two: their leader makes the assumption that if mankind
ever meets an alien race, they will judge us by how
we treat our fellow inhabitants on planet earth.
Very interesting book.
Very, erm, "creative" cover, however. Apart
from it looking faintly "underwater like",
it has nothing to do with the content.
